Delegates attending the 2016 ACT | UJ Arts & Culture Conference will have an opportunity to pitch for one of two R80 000 grants for an interdisciplinary project.

The first national South African Cultural Observatory workshop took place on Friday, 19 February at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Johannesburg. Industry players gathered to hear the vision and motivation for this initiative, ask questions, and voice concerns.

The National Arts Festival, producers of the Cape Town Fringe Festival, has announced a one-week extension on production proposals from artists wishing to take part this year. The second edition is once again being staged in the Mother City from 24 September – 4 October 2015.
