In Grant and Shaun: A Double Bill of Dance, Cape Town artists Grant van Ster and Shaun Oelf, two of the hottest young talents on the local dance and theatre scenes, take to the Baxter’s Flipside stage for a short season, from 9 to 18 April, to perform a brand new work Most Honest Man and their critically acclaimed The Architecture of Tears.

I Hit the Ground Running, a first-time collaboration between Scenkonst Sörmland (Sweden) and the Baxter Theatre Centre, is a cutting-edge dance and music performance piece at the Baxter Flipside for one week only from 29 August to 7 September at 7.30pm nightly, with a matinee on 7 September at 2pm.

Dance Umbrella 2016 - The Dance Umbrella festival celebrates its 28th year with principal funding from the Department of Arts and Culture and the Gauteng Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture and the U.S. Mission South Africa. Other partners include Creative Feel and Splitbeam, Dance Umbrella’s chief supplier of technical equipment.
