Where to begin.. At the moment I am completing my studies in Jazz Vocal Performance at the University of Cape Town. It's going better than I expected but under the exceptional teaching of Darryl Andrews and Andrew Lilley what can go wrong? I am very blessed to be releasing my debut album 'This Love We Share' which I have funded myself and has been produced by Mark Fransman (see my friends). In 2000 I received a National Merit Award in Jazz Vocal as part of the Old Mutual Jazz Encounters Competition and again in 2002. I have lived and performed in Turkey in 2001 for six months and in Dubai for two months 2004. I am so priveledged to be working on a weekly basis with the great Alvin Dyers (guitar) who is more than a mentor: he is my musical parent. From 18 years old I've been jamming with Mr D and since 2002 have been working regularly with him and his band. I started performing with Wayne Bosch (guitar) about two years ago (2005) and as our musical bond grew and developed we decided to add another member to our duo B2: Buddy Wells (tenor sax) and so became B3 = Buddy, Bruce and Bosch :)
