The Mizers are back in town baby. Having just returned from half a year spent playing over 60 shows throughout the UK, in almost every known venue, from the highly acclaimed Carling Academy, to the dingiest pub East London has to offer, the Mizers are stoked to be back in the homeland. The City Bowl Mizers are a band made up of five young Durban home-towners, each from their own very different musical backgrounds, and have been doing their thing with the band for just over two years now. Life is always total war. People never let go, they never dance”. The Mizers are here to make the world dance, like kids who threw away the Ritalin while their parent’s backs were turned. This may seem like an exaggerated task for anyone to accomplish, but with their somewhat eclectic yet easily accessible, super-duper catchy blend of early 50’s hook laden Pop and upbeat, dance-able Rock & Roll, you need only look around at the smiling faces (and worn down dance floors) that seem to follow the Mizers wherever they go, to realize that they’re actually doing a pretty decent job. So shine your shoes, roll up your sleeves, and turn that frown…yeah, you know. Upcoming Gigs for The City Bowl Mizers Add as favourites (50) | Quote this article on your site
