Get paid to Promote South African Creativity |
So how does it work? - submit your gigs/events via the WhatsOnSA website
- register as a user on the WhatsOnSA website
- click on Pay Me To Promote SA Creativity and signup
- once you've signed up, we give you 50 copies of the WhatsOnSA events guide to sell to your fans/friends/family at R10 ea
What do I earn? - for each guide you sell, you get R2 which is a full 20% of the purchase price
- so if you sell your 50 copies you earn R100
Is that all or is there more? - the band/person/organisation who sells the most copies in the country each month receives 10% of the proceeds for the month
- The top 10 bands/artists will receive one page in the next months guide to promote themselves
So how much will that be? - If 10 000 copies are sold nationally the winner receives R10 000 in cash
- If 50 000 copies are sold nationally the winner receives R50 000 in cash
- If 100 000 copies are sold nationally the winner receives R100 000 in cash
Who can sign up? - individual people (me, myself and I)
- Bands (one representative of band is responsible)
- Management Companies
- Schools
- Community Organisations
What areas will be covered by the guide? - Western Cape is ready to roll as soon as 100 people sign up
- Gauteng is ready to roll as soon as 100 people sign up
- KZN doesn't have enough info coming in, so it's about time you guys started sending info, soon as there are enough event listings and 100 people signed up we'll roll on this one too
How will we receive our 50 copies? - Central places will be listed where you can collect your copies
What if I want more than 50 copies? - if you want more than 50 copies to start off, you pay for the additional copies up front less your 20%
What if I don't sell my 50 copies? - at the end of the month you return any unsold copies of the guide plus 80% of the money for the ones you have sold
- unfortunately, the next month you will have to pay for any copies you take up front
What if I don't pay for my 50 copies? Who owns the guide? - The guide is owned by WhatsOnSA but everyone who signs up is a part of a profit share in Promoting South African Creativity
