Creativentertainment, producer of “The Full Monty – The Broadway Musical” currently being staged at the Johannesburg Civic Theatre, has taken a bold step in providing theatre-going audiences “a way out” in these tough economic times, by instituting, with immediate effect, an across-the-board “buy one get one free” special ticket offer for ALL of the remaining 15 performances of the production, until the show closes on Sunday, 12th October.

Who could have predicted that life would soon imitate art in South Africa when “The Full Monty – The Broadway Musical” opened in Johannesburg recently. The production is in essence about a group of men, down on their luck, and needing to “find a way out” in order to raise much needed funds so they decide to take drastic measures in deciding to stage a strip show in order to raise this money. 

Paralleled to this is the socio-political and economic uncertainty concerning every South African, with the public at large needing to tighten their economic belts in these troubled times.

As a gesture of understanding and empathy from the producers of “The Full Monty – The Broadway Musical”, Creativentertainment has decided to give something back to the public, and offer them “a way out” – if only for an evening; and that would be to go to the theatre and enjoy this top class production and forget about their economic worries for a while.

Says Johan Kruger of Creativentertainment; “We understand that lifestyle and the enjoyment thereof is the first item that gets affected and cut from a person’s budget. We realize the importance of staying positive in the light of these socio-political uncertainties and what better way than by going to enjoy a night out of fun and good laughter at the theatre!”
