Dean Guitars South Africa is proud to announce their latest artist endorsement. Local guitarist and band member Dutch has just signed up to the Dean fold and will from now be wielding Dean axes exclusively.

Dutch has been on the band scene in South Africa since the mid nineties, playing in bands such as Mephitis, Dead Tree Seedlings, Point Blank, Switch and is now with Sinical Root and Choking! Hazard.

Dutch has played music since he was twelve, achieving Grade 4 in piano and grade 3 in violin but his preference of instrument is the guitar. His choice from the Dean range was the Dime Razorback V Explosion 255.

"I am a fan of the V shaped Guitars," says Dutch of his choice, "So it wasn't too difficult to fall in love with another V. I chose this specific model for a couple of reasons. One being the image, the guitars looks speaks for itself. The V shaped headstock, the overall finish of the guitar and the custom artwork"

"But technically it is also an outstanding instrument. It is of solid construction but the most attractive feature for me has got to be the two EMG active Pickups (81 and 85), which happens to be my favourite combination. The Floyd Rose System is also a very good feature on this type of guitar. I totally fell in love with the warm tone the guitar produced!"

These fine instruments are imported directly into South Africa from the USA by Dean Guitars South Africa and these legendary guitars are now available countrywide through all good music instrument stores. For a look at the product range and for dealer contact info, visit www.deanguitars.co.za
