Phalaphala FM
This vibrant radio station has an average daily audience of 582 000 listeners and broadcasts in Tshivenda. Phalaphala FM talks to young aspirational and upwardly mobile black people living mainly in the Northern Province. The primary target market is people in the 25-49 year old age group in LSM 4-8 with a secondary target audience being the 16-24 year age group. It is mostly a music station with a small degree of talk: 80% of the music being South African, with a fair amount of R&B and Hip-Hop.
