Autopilot

Autopilot was formed in the fall of 2005. This Cape Town based band has since seen a few changes in its line-up. After the departure of the previous members, Shane and Sykes were joined by Dutch, Nixx and Jade in late 2006. At this stage Autopilot was signed by Mob Entertainment. Autopilot has been known for its fluid groove alternative rock.

With the addition of Jade’s vocals, the band’s new material has progressed and grown without losing the essence of Autopilot.

The new Autopilot’s first mission was the December 2006 ‘Rock ‘n Roll Circus Tour’ which saw the pilots play to audiences from Knysna to Cape Town, Somerset West to Simonstown.

Autopilot is in the preproduction/writing stage for their new yet to be named album, provisionally scheduled for release in April 2007.
