Driemanskap In 2001, a Cape Town township - Gugulethu gave birth to a trio and it was called Driemanskap. In no time they took over by rhyming in their mother tongue, isiXhosa. A rhyme dialect labeled Spaza (vernacular). This trio has shared stages with Cape Town's biggest underground crews such as Ben Sharpa, Archetypes and Writes block and many more. They also pride themselves in sharing stages with some of Mzantsi's big time muso's such as Simphiwe Dana, Pitch Black Afro, Prokid, Ntando, Ready D and Stompie Mavi. In 2005 this crew was previlage to take part in the Baobab festival sharing stage with the one of the biggest New York hip-hop crew Dead Prez debating some social issues through the lyrics that they spit.
