Alex is the founder member of benguela, an ambient experimental trio from cape town south africa.

His main instruments are guitar & bouzouki. Currently recording his solo debut. His approach is un-conventional, using altered tunings and extending the sonic range into electronically altered territory with an organic rather than linear approach.
