“It has been a privilege to work with David whom I taught, mentored and later worked with side by side. I have seen him grow from a talented student into a respected teacher, leader, mentor and networker not only within MIDM but in the greater Arts community. We will miss him in his role as Executive and Artistic Director of MIDM but we will happily still enjoy his presence and his expertise as he is to continue training dancers and mentoring potential leaders at MIDM. I, together with all at MIDM, wish him every success in this new venture”, said Sylvia Glasser, MIDM founder and Artistic Director. David April and Sylvia Glasser at the recent ACT Awards 2008.
