Andre The Hilarious Hypnotist can't hypnotise the government into reducing petrol prices nor fix Eskom's power problems but he can have you laughing till your head hurts, and that is exactly what he plans to do when he returns to the Theatre Of Marcellus stage after a two year absence from 28 March - 5 April 2008. Andre has been filling Theatre's around the country for the past 14 years and says he sees no end in what he calls "the best work in the country". Following in the footsteps of his mentor Max Collie, Andre launched to fame in the 90's filling theatre's to capacity ever since. Andre returns to the stage with his conundrum of hilarious hypnotic routines in which you see your neighbour, best friend or arch enemy act in ways you will never believe. When asked which routines audience members can expect to see on stage this year Andre gave a smile typical of someone who makes his living by getting people to jump around at the snap of a finger. Aside from the usual mix of hilarious antics such as helicopter impersonators, David Coperfield would be's and Pop Idol contestants Andre mentions a routine fondly known as the bunny hop for which he has developed a specific love. Andre will not discuss what exactly happens in the routine but he does promise that it has become his most popular routine yet. Andre opens at Emperors Palace Casino's Theatre of Marcellus on 28 March - 5 April, with shows nightly at 8:30pm and Sunday at 3pm. Tickets are available at Computicket or at the Theatre and starts at R65.00 per person Add as favourites (166) | Quote this article on your site
