Due to many teething problems the launch of the WhatsOnSA Pocket Size Events Guide will now only be launched in February 2008 but it's going to be well worth the wait. The format has been improved on and hitches with the printing are now being ironed out. At the moment we are getting sample copies out to key people in the industry to get feeback and support of this amazing booklet, so hopefully there will be some reviews posted very soon. If you would like to do a reveiew of this publication, please let me know and I will make arrangements to get you a copy. We may still end up getting a few thousand copies out to the public this month. The booklet' key focus is on getting event information out, music, theatre, dance, comedy etc. From the funds generated from the guide, 20% will be going straight back into the arts as part of the cost of sale, initially this will be used for advertising, the more this guide get out into the hands of the public, the more we will be able to Promote South African Creativity. This is definitely the kind of booklet that you will never want to be without once you have seen it. I have added some snapshots of this months unofficial issue, including the cover and the actual events content, a page for today and then for the coming weekend. With your support this guide will make a huge difference to the South African Arts, so please support it and let as many people as you can know about it. |
